“We had a coach at the high school who’d worked in three or four different school divisions. He made an observation; he said he’d never seen a school system that got as much out of individuals — effort and talent wise — than Rappahannock,” recalled former principal Dennis Wingfield. “The Bombergers personify that. They put a lot of time and effort into their jobs and to the rest of what they do as volunteers. They’re just fine people.”
