Willie Oscar Settle, 70, of Reva, died Saturday, December 24, 1983, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Will Jake and Georgie Anna Fincham Settle. His wife was the late Jessie Jenkins Settle.
Survivors include a son, Oscar Junior Settle of Culpeper; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy S. Ross of Reva; a brother, Tom Settle of Leesburg; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Jenkins of Brandy Station and Mrs. Susie Jenkins of Culpeper, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, December 27, at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
