Rappahannock’s Association for Arts and the Community (RAAC) has organized its new film series.
Movies will be shown on Fridays (a change from Saturday) at 8:00 p.m. and Sundaysat 7:00 p.m. at the Gay St. Theater in Washington. A $20 Film Club Membership means that it only costs $2 per movie, ('all 927-51%, 075-8192 or 547-8984 for more information.

Flint Hill Auxiliary
To Meet
The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will meet on Thursday, January 5, 1984, instead of the fourth Thursday as previously announced.
The meeting will be held at 7:80 p.m. at the home of Peggy Ralph. All members are urged to attend.
EMT Course Set
There will be an Emergency Medical Technician - Shock Trauma Basic Course held at the Culpeper Memorial Hospital classroom beginning January 9, from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. This course is sponsored by the Rappahannock - Rapidan EMS Council.
The cost is $27.25 for textbook and workbook. Preregistration is required and certain criteria need to be met. For further details, call the Rappahannock - Rapidan EMS Council office at 825-0849 from 9-5 Monday-Friday.
Benefit Dinner And Dance
A dinner and dance will be sponsored by the Rappahannock Fire and Rescue Association on Saturday, January 7, 1984, at the Flint Hill fire hall. For more information, contact any member of the association.
Film At Mi. Lebanon
Mt. Lebanon Baptist will be showing a motion picture release of International Prison Ministry entitled, “Changed Lives in San Quentin.”
Actually filmed inside the prison, this documentary features the stories of four notorious criminals. Interviews conducted by Art Linkletter and the director of IPM, Chaplain Ray, focus on rehabilitation as a result of conversion to Christianity.
From inside the gas chamber Jerry Graham says, “I came very close to ending it all right here.” In stark contrast to his life of crime, he now directs a ranch for abused children. James Williams served time in San Quentin after a gun battle with police. Now he’s employed by a criminal justice organization teaching men “the wav to go out,” as he puts it.
Artother changed life is George Meyer, AI Capone’s favorite driver. Now’ 74, he counsels teenagers about the evils of drug abuse. And Jack Burbridge, once an enforcer for organized crime, is now a preacher. The film concludes with a look inside the gas chamber.
The film is free to the public and will be shown at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church near Woodville on Saturday, December 81 at 9 p.m.
