William Henry Jett “Bill” Martin, 96, of Washington, died on Thursday, August 9 at the Orange County Nursing Home.
Mr. Martin was a native of Rappahannock County and a member of die Gid Brown Bible Church near Washington.
There are no immediate survivors.
Graveside services were conducted on Sunday at the old Monroe place in Gid Brown Hollow by the Rev. John K. Burke, Jr.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
Ellis Frazier
Born In Rappahannock
Ellis Lee Frazier, 81, of Luray, died Sunday, August 5 at Page Memorial Hospital.
Born on May 1, 1903, in Rappahannock County, he was a son of the late Newton and Sarah E. Frazier. He was a retired Virginia Oak Tannery employee. On December 27, 1927, he married the former Ollie Dwyer, who survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Earl Lee Frazier and Jimmy Ellis Frazier, both of Luray; a daughter, Eva Dovel of Luray; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers, Todie Frazier and Roy Frazier, both of Luray, Delaney Frazier of Middleburg and Newton Frazier of Chambersburg,
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray by Elder Wayne Bryant. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
