• Discussed use/renovation of Town Hall. Council members said they did not wish to displace the Washington Ladies Auxiliary currently using Town Hall, a group that “is producing for the community,” Councilman Miller said.
Miller suggested spending scant town fluids wisely, saying it would have cost $30,000 to replace galvanized pipes in the facility six years ago. Miller also opted for interior renovation in winter, when Town Hall would not be in use.
• More on dogs. Mayor Kramer said he had talked with a dog owner whose name had been given to him. The owner said his dog was in the house all the time, the mayor told Council.
Councilwoman Evelyn Miller Willis opted for taking a closer look at the legalies of the town’s ordinance regarding dogs, a copy of which Councilman Miller will pass on to her.
