Bick Roemer, 13, a seventh grader at Wakefield Country Day School, participated in the 1984 University of Virginia 5-8 grade Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) in Charlottesville. The program was held June 24 through July 6.
Miss Roemer and other SEP students boarded in UVA dormitories for two weeks and attended classes and seminars daily. Miss Roemer was in the Arts and Humanities class, which was held at Saint Ann’s Catholic School.
Her seminar class was based on Sports Psychology, which talked about stress and tension.
