Truman J. Keesey traveled with other senior citizens to Washington, D.C. July 26. The Washington resident, met with a presidential committee on aging.
Keesey joined two other Northern Virginians at the meeting: Mrs. Jane Callaway of Rixeyville and Mrs. Alice Mann of Wairenton.
"I had been in the nation’s capital and in the White House over a period of 40 years, but this is the first time as an individual citizen or part of a delegation that I participated in such a White House event,” Keesey said.
