Alex Philippidis joins the staff of the Rappahannock News for three weeks, beginning with this issue.
Philippidis - a native of New York City - is a journalism nuyor at Pace University in White Plains, N.Y. He will begin his senior year there in September.
At Pace, he is editor-in-chief of The Prestonian, a university student newspaper.
Philippidis has written for many New York area publications, including The Reporter Dispatch in White Plains and the Queens Tribune, a local weekly newspaper similar to the Rappahannock News.
