CCLC lists credits
The Child Care and Learning Center, one of about 50 non-profit community-service enterprises qualified to offer tax credits for ' donations from businesses, is distributing information about income limits and tax credits in return for donations to the school.
The CCLC recently qualified for tax credits under the Neighborhood Assistance Act, a program that offers businesses the opportunity to declare credits for donations.
The CCLC is the only licensed day-care facility in the county.
In 1983, with the help of a foundation challenge grant, a building campaign was begun to move the school from its rented farmhouse. Construction on a new building has begun on U.S. 211 south of Washington.
Since the program was started, some $219,000 has been raised for the construction of a new facility.
The state-supported program expires at the end of 1985.
