‘A Passage to India9 “A Passage to India,” an epic, ornate film based on E.M. Forster’s novel of the same title, will be shown in the Qay St. Theatre on Nov. 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. Set in colonial India, this work concentrates on the struggle between the British colonials and the Indian intellectuals. Judy Davis, Victor Banerjee, Alex Guinness, Dame Peggy Ashcroft, Nigel Havers and James Fox star in the film that is rated PG.

Guest to speak Delegate Raymond Guest, by invitation of the Rappahannock Retired Teachers’ Association, will be at the Rappahannock County Court House on Nov. 20 at 10:30 a.m. He will be discussing Virginia’s water supply, rising utility costs, appointment of consumer oriented citizens on state regulatory boards and questions that participants will have.
