The ASCS County Committee will hold the 1986 agricultural conservation program sign up from Nov. 13 to Dec. 13. Applications will also be accepted for the Chesapeake Bay program.
The committee recommends this year’s conservation program as offering the most reduction in soil erosion for the money. Some practices available with highest priority are SL-1 establishment of permanent vegetative cover, SL-15 no till systems, SL-3 strip cropping systems and WP-3 sod water ways.
