in bad weather

The Rappahannock County public school system has announced its media representatives to be notified in the event bad weather cancels classes.

When poor weather places the opening of school that day in doubt, an announcement to cancel school for that day will be made on any one of the radio or television stations listed below.

If no announcement is made, students, parents and teachers are expected to report to school at normal hours. Leesburg artist

at open house

An exhibition of paintings by Leesburg artist Maggie Siner will be held Nov. 16 from 2 to 6 p.m. at her studio, 223 Loudoun St., SE, Leesburg.

The show includes paintings of the figure as a dancer and landscapes of Loudoun County. The public is invited to attend.
