In the closing week of Wakefield’s varsity soccer season, the team has won the annual Delaney Athletic Conference Tournament for the second consecutive year to gain both the season and tournament championships.
Wakefield entered the tournament as the top-seed, having collected a 7-0 conference record in the season. In their first game, Wakefield played 5th seeded Emmanuel Christian School.
