Burke of Amissville, sister of the bride. She wore a floor length daphne rose dress of Celanese knit with a lace standup collar. The flared skirt fell from a fitted empire waist.

The attendants carried bouquets of rose buds, baby carnations and baby’s breath with long satin streamers.

The best man was Marty Whorton of Amissville, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Billy Dodson of Rixeyville and Ronnie Settle of Flint Hill. Junior usher was Wally Woodward of Amissville.

Jonathan Whorton was the ring bearer and Joanna Whorton was the flower girl.

A reception followed the ceremony catered by Debi Edwards and Audrey Neller.

The bride is a 1985 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and is employed by Liberty Savings Bank in Warrenton.

The groom is a 1980 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and is employed by Ron’s Flooring Co.

Following a wedding trip to Daytona Beach and Orlando, Fla., the couple is living in Amissville.
