The house was owned by Richard E. Barron, who lives in Philadelphia. He had not been out to the house in some time, Sheriff John Henry Woodward said.
Sheriff Woodward called the fire “funny.” A State Police arson investigator visited the scene Monday, but was unable to determine the cause of the fire, the sheriff said.
