Planners want answers first
Last week, confronted with Mr. Morehouse’s allegations that the road to the proposed bed-and-breakfast site trespasses onto his property, the Planning Commission recommended no decision on the permit until the encroachment question is settled.
“According to our survey and according to our title insurance, the road is entirely on our property,” Mrs. Wagner told the BZA, referring in particular to a letter from surveyor Wayne Niskanon which states: “No part of the gravel road bed encroaches onto the Morehouse land. The required 60-foot unde access easement is intended to be completely on the Davis land.”
