Ron Frazier: Jackson District
“I’m the only candidate of the four (for Jackson District supervisor) with roots in the county,” Mr. Frazier said. “My family goes back for several generations.”
His initiation into local politics came through involvement with zoning issues when the county enacted its new zoning ordinance in 1984. “Since then, I’ve continually had some input in civic and local matters, probably to the distress of some of the incumbent candidates,” Mr. Frazier said.
“I’m involved in education because Jackson District wants better schools,” he continued, noting that he recently attended a meeting in Warrenton on accreditation standards and the Governor’s Conference on Education in Richmond “to get an idea what the state is pushing, what might be mandated later.”
