D. D. Miller of Washington
has resigned as secretarytreasurer and appraiser of the Rappahannock Home Mutual Fire Insurance Company. Appointed to fill the position is James M. Ashby, an orchardist and farmer of Sperryville. Mr. Miller has held the position for the past three years.
The Virginia Education Association is holding its annual convention in Richmond this week. Delegates from Rappahannock County who left yesterday for the meeting and will return Saturday are Dennis Wingfield, principal of Rappahannock County High School, Mrs. Jessie M. Turner, teacher at Washington Elementary, and Mrs. Lucia Z. Kilby, a faculty member of Sperryville Elementary.
The Arts and Crafts Project invites everyone interested in sharing and the exchange of Christmas ideas to attend their meeting Nov. 14 at Cab Inn.
