The members of the chib enjoyed Mrs. Smoot's 114 varieties of rose bashes, all carefully labeled with their names, and her outstanding perennial gardens.
The club’s annual business meeting was held at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper following the visit to Mrs. Smoot’s garden. It was hosted by Florence Nordone, Frances Russell and Miriam Reeve.
