Makes 4 servings 4 medium sweet onions Salt and pepper Butter Topping of choice (see below) Peel onions. Slash tops in an X.1 Place each onion on square of foil! Microwave method: Prick whole, unpeeled onions with a fork. Or slash peeled onions. Arrange in microwave-proof baking dish. Cover and microwave on high until tender, about 8 to 10 minutes.
