Congratulations to Kathleen Shiff and Vincent Day who were appointed June 6 to be citizen representatives on the Rappahannock Landfill Advisory Committee.
Jackson District Supervisor Ellis Bingham continues to welcome participation by citizens in the decisionmaking process on vital issues before the Board of Supervisors. Meetings are held on the first Monday at 2 p.m. at the Washington court house. You may call him at 937-6120. The Planning Commission meets the third Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., also at the court house.
Lisa and Curtis Stuart, Stephanie and Curt Jr. have returned from a vacation in Florida, with a stopover in Raleigh, N.C., to visit Hayes and Alice White. They also stopped at Flee ton Beach, Reedville, for a few days of fun in the sun while recuperating from the trip.
Love and prayers are extended, to the family of Julia Carrico who ■ died June 13. She was 91.

David and Marie Riedel of Wash-1 ington are the proud parents of a son, Kevin Joseph, born June 3 in' Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. He weighed 7 lb. 6 oz. Kevin has a-1 brother David Jr.
Grandparents are Frank and Carmen Koha of Berea, Ohio, and Bill and Janet Riedel of Norfolk.
