The music will be provided by a variety of talent, including Rappahanock County’s own Trapezoid, known for their eclectic blend of traditional and avante-garde styles.
Other music scheduled during the three-hour program will be both patriotic and religious, and at least one country dance group will perform as well.
During the day, the fire department plans plenty of entertainment for the entire family, beginning about 10 a.m.
Chief Roger Roach said that about 50 crafters have signed up for the festival, and their booths will stretch from one end of Gay St. to the other. “There are crafters of every description,” he said, noting that the department has tried hard to avoid duplication in the displays.
