If people would take more time' to really listen, many hurt feelings and problems could be avoided. I am reminded of the saying that w*| should be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger. Taking the time to really communicate will avoid feelings of distress, anger or bitterness toward other people.
In fact, it never ceases to amaze me that when people express themselves and I really listen, often theyi do not say or make the point that ij assumed they would. }
