The attendants wore crinkle satin, tea-length gowrns in a soft crystal coral shade. The gowns had a bateau neckline, capped sleeves, dropped waistline and several bows adorning the back of the dresses. They carried an arm bouquet of Rubrum lilies, white roses, daisies and alstroemerias with ivory ribbon.
Richard Lester Burke Sr. served as his son’s best man.

A reception followed at Queen Ann Hotel in Statesville, N.C.
The bride is a graduate of University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, N.C. and is employed by the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond as a Registered Nurse in Neonatal Intensive Care.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College and is employed by Waste Management of North America in Richmond as an Assistant Operations Manager.
Following a wedding trip to Barbados, the couple will make their home in Mechanicsville, Va.
