A public hearing on the r amily Life Education program for Rappahannock County will be held on Tuesday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Rappahannock County High School. The meeting is being held to give the community an opportunity to express their concerns about the program prior to the committee’s meeting on Wednesday, May 24. Many have been concerned that their children will be taught too much, too soon. Citizens are urged to review the proposed curriculum and express comments at the hearing Tuesday night. A copy of the 45page curriculum may be purchased at the School Board for $2.25. A copy is also available in the post offices, the county library and both the elementary and high school libraries. Anhone unable to attend Tuesday’s meeting may phone their comments to chairman of the committee Judy Tole at 937-5850.
