Lion of Warrenton, Carriage House Antiques, Southern Office Supply, Gee Willikers, Jeanne Drevas, Monica Calhoun and anyone that was overlooked.
For those that did not get a chance to see “ARTWORKS” in progress, they missed an amazing sight. Hundreds of student’s paintings and sketches were displayed in one room, representing almost every child. Sculptures were exhibited as well.
And what’s more unique is that this array of talent was extracted and encouraged by one person Linda 0wings, the Art teacher. The Mini Craft Workshop looked more like Santa’s workshop with little people busy creating objects of all shapes, sizes and colours.
All things considered “ARTWORKS” was a project where everyone involved was very positive, kids were very receptive and it’s very likely it could happen again! Let’s do it!
