PLANT OPERATOR
Starting salary $18,428 to $25,000 depending on qualifications. Immediate opening for Water Treatment Plant Operator for the Leesburg Department of Utilities. Position requires a Virginia Water Works Certification along with a high school diploma and experience as a H20 treatment operator. Must be in good physical condition and have a valid operators license.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT
OPERATOR IV '
Starting salary $15,160. Must be able to obtain certification as a Class IV Wastewater Operator in the State of Virginia within one year of appointment. Requires high school diploma or GED, experience at a wastewater plant is not required. Operations laboratory maintenance or general labor work; along with good physical condition and valid motor operator’s license and good driving record required. Will assist with facility and equipment operations, building, grounds, and equipment maintenancemonitoring pumping stations and other related tasks at the plant.
Benefits include salary increases at six and twelve months of experience, dental, group health and life insurance, optional benefits program, paid sick and vacation leave.
