Centel is enhancing telephone service for its Washington customers on May 27 with state-of-the-art communications technology.
Beginning then, computerized switching will allow one-party residential and business customers in Washington to choose Custom Calling options they haven’t enjoyed before. Options like Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, Three-Way Calling and Speed Calling will be available for the first time.
A SPECIAL, FREE TRIAL
Washington one-party residential customers are getting a 30-day free trial of Call Waiting and Call Forwarding, beginning May 27. Details about these features are included in a bill insert Washington customers are receiving this month.
QUICKER, QUIETER OPERATION
Improvements brought about by the installation of the new Washington computerized cal I-switching system will mean Centel customers’ calls will go through faster and quieter than ever before.
MUST DIAL ENTIRE NUMBER
Beginning May 27, Washington customers will have to dial the entire telephone number — not just part of it — when placing local calls. Unless all seven digits are dialed with the new system, calls can’t be completed.
