He suggested that, in order for the process to be effective, a broad range of ideas must be considered, and the committee members must be open to'any suggestions as they talk to residents. “This should not be restrictive ... it is meant to be inclusive, not exclusive.” The only limitation, he said, is that suggestions should be “critically attentive and constructive.”
The committee began its work with a background briefing by Mr. O’Connell and Mr. Lynch on the history of the Inn and the process which led up to the presentation of the expansion plan which was unveiled at January’s Planning Commission meeting.
After the briefing, the committee decided that, at its next meeting, the members would formulate a questionaire which will be used as a guide as contacts are made with community members. After talking with as many members of the community as possible, the committee
