Most of us have services performed for us now and then. If you’re like me, time, distance and other priorities cause us to often accept mediocrity; especially when the repair is in the nature of “crafting with the hands.”
I have an old chair with a tom cane seat that I’ve been going to recane for almost six years. It is a chair that has lots of sentiment and nostalgia. But the repair was never gotten around to.
I was made aware of the F.O.R.E. workshop in Remington on U.S. 29 in Fauquier County. Someone told me they did good work caning and rushing plus other types of contract work for a reasonable price.
This workshop employs some 30 plus individuals, five from Rappahannock County, who have a variety of problems in speech, seeing, hearing, MR and motor co-ordination. They work
