“Those wells that the laboratory determines are suspect will be tested for pesticides,” Mr. Williams added. “We have applied for additional funds from several local organizations,” he continued, “and if we received additional funds we can test more than 200 wells.”
“We also appreciate the support of our local Board of Supervisors and County Administrator for providing funds for the DRASTIC maps,” stated Mrs. Smith. “We are very excited to be the recipient of this grant and encourage all citizens to attend the public meeting on April 11 to learn more about it,” she continued.
