Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) classes will be held at the Amissville fire hall on May 15, 17 and 22 from 7 to 10 p.m. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity. The life you save may be a family member or dear friend. The only fee is $5 for the CPR book. Volunteer rescue personnel donate their time for these training classes. Anyone desiring to participate in a First Responder Emergency Medical Service (EMS) class beginning May 20 in nearby Sperryville may register by calling 825-6849. The is a 40-hour class.
