Mr. and Mrs. John R. Eastham Jr. of Rileyville were Sunday overnight guests of his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Edwrard M. Clark.

Grace Bailey was a Friday overnight guest of Amanda Brown and her family.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Slack and daughter Christin in Myeasville, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Slack of Baltimore, Md. were also weekend guests there.

Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clatterbuck of Front Royal were visitors of Mrs. Ned Settle, Jimmy and William.

Monday luncheon guests of Mrs. Alice R. Wood at The Country Cafe were Mrs. Russie Miller of Flint Hill, Mrs. Carl Howell and Christy, Howell of Lynchburg.

Happy belated birthday to David Henry Alther Jr. who was one year old on May 1st. A birthday party was held at his home on Saturday, May 5th for David’s birthday. He received many nice gifts.

She received her degree from the College of Human Resources with a Bachelor of Science major in family and child development.
