Junior High 4-H Camp

“To make the best better” is the motto for 4-H, one of the largest youth organizations in the world. The 4-H’s stand for equal training of the head, heart, hands and health as they promote leadership, citizenship and encourage active involvement in community service.

As a part of community involvement this year’s Junior High Camp theme will be “The Green Theory”, in support of environmental issues and the 4 R’s: reduce, recycle, reuse, renew. Two sessions will be held June 24-28 and July 22-26.

“There are strong and compelling reasons to focus the 4-H youth development program in such a way that positive, measurable impacts are achieved on the youth of the Commonwealth,” states Dr. Wayne Keffer, State 4-H Assistant Director.
