He has won nine First Place Awards in Southwest Shows His carvings of traditional Northern dancers, contemporary Hohokem figures and Bear Fetishes are done in hardwoods such as black walnut, black oak and palo chino. The carvings incorporate turquoise, feathers, cutbeads, badger fur and deerhoms, brass beads and many other items. He also does paintings ot landscapes. His works are shown in galleries m An/ona, California and Colorado, among others.
