“The Ties That Bind, A Collection of Grandparent Stories Gathered by the Young People of Rappahannock County," is now available for $3 at Rappahannock High School and Rappahannock Elementary School.
The book includes the stories by students that were used in the 1990 original drama of the same name, directed by artist-in-residence Catherine Kiley.
The book also includes the many stories that were not used in the play and photographs of the production>
Fauquier students who saw the play and the student actors from Rappahannock also contribute their comments in the book.
