Mike’s father started the service business on U.S. 211 west. As a young man, Mike entered the business working weekends and parttime while keeping a full-time job in Culpeper. After his father’s death in 1977, Mike took on more responsibilities at the store.
“We started with just one fulltime employee,” he said.
