Bird study course
On Monday, April 15 the first of three class sessions of a Bird Study Course will be given from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church.
On alternate Monday mornings the class will go on three threehour field trips from 7 a.m.-10 a.m. to varied nearby sites to practice identification of Rappahannock birds and to observe springtime bird behavior.
The course will be limited to 15 participants and there will be a $25 charge for the course, including the field trips.

Open houses
Five outstanding homes and gardens (in the Warrenton, Virginia area) will be open to visitors on Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25, as part of the Garden Club of Virginia’s Historic Garden Week. Warrenton, the seat of historic Fauquier County, Virginia, is located an hour from Washington in the rolling Virginia Piedmont.
