Judy’s family business has grown over the years. Now, the change in location has proven to expand their business further.
“We are beginning to see new faces, here,” Mr. Brown said of the location. “We’ve gotten a few people from Page County, headed to work in Culpeper or Madison. We’ve also gotten a few new Sperryville customers,” he said with laughter, adding before the move, the clerks, Judy and he, forewarned customers of the move, hoping to avoid any problems.
“And, we’ve kept the same telephone number,” Mrs. Brown said, adding if a customer should have a question, the store can be reached by dialing the same number.
And while the store is busy with new customers and settling, the Browns agreed they “miss seeing many of the old customers.’
Besides the old building, the Browns left behind their gasoline business.
