The Washington Town Council will be sending out letters to property owners adjacent to the town’s so-called stub streets, asking them to consent to a boundary line agreement.

The stub streets in some cases are well-travelled alleys. In other cases adjoining property owners are using them for driveways, and in some cases the old road is now lawn.

The Town Council began discussing the stub streets after council members Ray Gooch and Newbill Miller excused themselves from dis* cussion of the stubs, because they own property that borders a stub
