Plans are being finalized for the Third Annual Rappahannock High Alumni Basketball Tournament, to be played at the high school Nov. 2930.
The tournament is the major fundraiser of the year for the Rappahannock High Athletic Department. Last year the event netted $1,200, exceeding the goal of $1,000.
The action begins at 7 p.m. Nov. 29 when Team 3 plays Team 4. Team 1 and Team 2 play at 8:30 p.m.
The following day, Saturday Nov. 30, the losers of the first-round games play for third place at 7 p.m. and the winners of the first-round game play for the championship at 8:30 p.m.
All players are reminded to be at the school by 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m.
