The community ThanksgivingEve service will be held at Amissville United Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Sid Rodriguez, pastor Forest Grove Baptist Church. The all-male band from Amissville Baptist will perform. Light refreshments following service.
The covered dish dinner for United Methodist Women’s combined day and evening groups will be 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 21. Everyone is invited. The evening group meets each fourth Thursday at 7 p.m. The day group meets 12:30 p.m. every second Wednesday.
