Mr. and Mrs. Warren Payne of Richmond were Sunday guests of Sallie Lillard. They attended the Huff-Harris wedding at the fire hall on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Payne of Richmond also attended the wedding.

The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have worship service at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24. The pastor the Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the public.

Make plans and mark your calendar now to attend the homemade spaghetti dinner beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Flint Hill fire hall. The dinner will benefit the Flint Hill United Methodist Church organ fund. Following the dinner the Shorb Brother’s will give a concert.

The Flint Hill United Methodist Women met on Monday evening with Candy Lamma.

Others present were Gaynelle Russell, Evelyn Walker, Mary Curtis, Shelby Welch, Artis East and Louise McCulloch.

Delegates for the Continental Congress to be held in Washington, D.C. in April were elected. They are Delegate, Mrs. Dale Metzinger, first alternate Mrs. Z.R. Gutowski, second alternate, Mrs. James A. Weaver, third alternate Mrs. Walter Clark and fourth alternate Mrs. Douglas Fairfax.

The next meeting will be the annual combined SAR-DAR Christmas banquet to be held at Airlie House in Warrenton on Friday, Dec. 6. The cost is $15 per person and reservations must be in by Tuesday, Dec. 3 to Mrs. A.R. Sudduth, P.O. Box 767 in Warrenton.
