The School Board voted Tuesday night to solicit bids from architectural firms for the addition at the elementary school. The bids are due May 10.
The proposed budget for next year includes $82,400 for architect’s fees.
Once the bids are received the hiring process begins. The board decided that it will review each bid and rank them according to the ability of the architectural firms to do the job. Several firms will be invited to make presentations, and the firms will be re-ranked.
