To the Editor:
I would like to take exception to county administrator John McCathy’s spread sheet stating that it costs us $77 per ton to dispose of our trash. Either there is a glitch in his computer, or all the facts have not been presented.
As was reported in the Rappahannock News in March, Mr. McCarthy stated that the county generates 18 tons of trash a day, or 6,570 tons a year. He also stated that it presently costs us $200,000 per year to transport from the re
