At the regular monthly
meeting of the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Company of Friday, April 5, Mr. Hugo Stribling, prominent Morrisville, Va. well driller, presented the members with a Packard ambulance.
Many residents from all areas of the county attended the speieal road hearing held at the courthouse Wednesday, April 3, in connection with the April Board of Superviosors meeting. Mr. D.S. Butler and Mr. Fitzhugh of the State Highway Department head the many requests for road improvements.
The Town Council of Washington set the week of April 21 as Clean-up Week and the day of Friday, April 26, as trash pickup day.
The R.C.H.S. Senior play will be Saturday, April 27.
At a special meeting of the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors held April 5 it was decided to have a survey made of the county boundary lines.
