The board approved an afterprom party sponsored by Students Against Drunk Driving and the Community Coalition Working for Healthy Youth. The alcohol-free party will be held from midnight to 3 a.m. May 8-9 at Lakeside Swim Club in Culpeper and will cost the students $2 each. The sponsors are asking for support from the community for the party.
Art celebration
for children
“Art in the Park”, Windmore’s program to help the children of the community who are interested in art create and learn new and interesting ideas, will be held at Precious Blood Church in Culpeper.
Classes will be held for 9-12 year olds from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. the week of July 12-16. The weed of July 19-23 classes will be held for 6-8 year olds from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m.
The finale of the fourth year, The Art Celebration, will be held in Precious Blood Church Hall from 11-3 on July 24.
Registration will be held at Culpeper Days, Saturday, May 1. This will be on a first come first serve basis. The fee this year will be $20 for the five day session.
