The Rappahannock County Library rates fourth in the state for the number of people attending its programs.
The state average attendance per program is 17 persons, with the Rappahannock Library averaging 55 per program. Of the almost 100 public Virginia libraries, only the Alexandria, Williamsburg, and the Bristol library systems had a higher attendance average last year.
Partial thanks needs to go out to the Programs Coordinator, Sam McDermott, and all the other volunteer committee members. The Library had a wonderful set of “First Friday” programs this past year, wifh themes from geology to flower arranging.
