Register now for the second session of the Summer Day Camp at Spring Mountain School. The camp will be held 9 a.m.-l p.m. MondayWednesday, July 26-August 27 for children ages 3 1/2-6. There will be no camp August 2,3 and 4.
Each week promises a rich and nurturing balance of indoor and outdoor experiences, including swimming, trips to parks and playgrounds, hiking, crafts and creative play all with an experienced teacher.
The tuition, $150 for the four week program covers all expenses for materials, transportation and admission to parks and swimming facilities.

Drevas Exhibits in Warrenton
Jeanne Drevas, Sperry ville, will be exhibiting her work at Studio 19, Warrenton, from July 16-August 5. She is known for her technique of low-salt fired porcelain which featured huge vessels and works for the wall that “reflect the patterning of the cosmos.”
Library Board to Meet
The Rappahannock Library Board will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 22 at the Library. The public is invited to attend.
Block Party Planned
The First Baptist Church Usher’s Board will have a block party at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 24 on Piedmont Avenue at the home of Julia Boddie and Mary Groves. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, deviled eggs, desserts, cold sliced watermelon and lots of cold drinks for sale. The public is invited to join us and make this a fun party,” said an organizer.
Free Staff Concert
The instructors of Ki Theatre’s Summer Program for Teens give a free informal performance for the program participants, their families and the general public at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 15 at Ki Theatre. Ki Theatre is located at the intersection of Gay and Jett Streets in Washington.
The informal performance will include the Eclectics, an acapella singing group directed by program voice instructor Beth Levick, a dramatic monologue performed by drama instructor John Derr Landis, and a dance theatre work by program director and dance instructor Sharon Wyrrick.

Clean-up Day
The newly orgainzed Men’s Fellowship of the First Baptist Church in Washington is sponsoring a Clean-up Day at the church in preparation for homecoming at 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 24.
