Wednesday, July 7 at Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper.
Interment was in Sperryville Cemetery with the Rev. Kirby Shank officiating.
Acting pallbearers were Ronnie Dodson, Cecil Atkins, James Swindler II, James Swindler, Bernard Jenkins and Huey Atkins.
Honorary pallbearers were Todd Atkins, Calvin Atkins, Roy Leake, Melvin Atkins, Shelby Atkins and Eddie Gore.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad or the Washington Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Lois Smith
Mrs. Lois Elizabeth Smith, 78, of Aroda, formerly of Sperryville, died on Sunday, July 11 at Countryside Home for Adults.
She was bom in Rappahannock County on September 26, 1914.
She is survived by two sister, Mrs. Jessie Frances Fincham of Culpeper and Mrs. Robbie Lee Bells of North Carolina.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 14 at 10 a.m. at Found & Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper with the Rev. Charles Shifflett officiating.
Interment will be private.
